i love these pictures. they capture so perfectly a summer afternoon: calvin smiling while clutching something mildly treacherous like a fork. ransom delighting in little things like getting the mail. that husband and those two boys content just being with each other.
what these pictures don't convey is the incredible heat and the sweaty mess we are after being outside for five minutes.
