here are my favorites:
esta vida mia: my dear friend (of 27 years) elisabeth who has been through every phase of life with me. including going to peru (and staying after i left and marrying a wonderful peruvian man).
bethany: the friend i rely on for good talks and good books and baby play-dates. she also happens to be an incredible photographer (i pretend i am her when i take pictures and am always disillusioned at the results).
sailor our much-missed friends and their beautiful girl
further in and higher up: my long-time friend anna. we've been little girls, teachers, and mothers together.

small things: a catholic mother of six who knits, gardens, cooks, and is generally who i wish i would grow up to be.
dear baby: i love reading this one. melissa is a writer (refreshing in the land of blogs), and she has such good things to say.
finding my feet interestingly, my old friend caleb's sister-in-law, who has no idea i read her blog or am living in her sister's mother-in-law's house. this woman can sew and makes me think i can, too.
small town simplicity: a girl my age with five children. enough said.
longest acres: a farmer woman. when i was a child this is who i thought i was going to grow up to be.
colemans in love: she had a preemie, too!
passionate homemaking: other than the name, i love this blog. resourceful.
rockstar diaries: ok, yes, i also read the mormon mommy blogs-- they're so cute!
roads from emmaus: an orthodox priest with lots of wisdom
grantian florilegium dr grant: a wise teacher/pastor. a sort of pioneer in modern christian classical education
