back!

not sure what happened to my blog there for a few days, but it seems to have remedied itself. or been remedied. no more scary red warning page popping up!

meanwhile, we have all [mostly] gotten over our colds, finally.  other news:

-josh has been in and out of doctors' offices and procedure rooms. he is finally beginning to feel better.
-calvin cut his first tooth on his four-month birthday.
-the weather is bi-polar and i love it.
-i am still drowning in school work and babies and housework.
-two lovely girls from our church volunteered to come spend last friday with us to help. they cleaned, took care of babies, and made dinner (one of their own chickens!). what a blessing.
- a lovely woman from our church cooked a slew of meals for us and stocked our freezer. another way God is taking care of us these days.
- our food bills are taken care of.  yet another provision of God.

my grandmother died two weeks ago, and the memorial service was last saturday.  this is really the first death of a close family member my family has had to deal with, and it has been very sad.  we will miss her so very much.  i'm planning to write a bit later about the memorial service so that i remember the details.

and, of course, ransom and calvin are growing so quickly.  16 months and 4 months.  amazing!
